C & C No. 1 "Candelaria"
Carson & Colorado #1 Candelaria.
Ordered Jun 15, 1880. Baldwin accidentally put Miller buffers on her and two of her sister engines. These were soon replaced. She was originally fitted with wooden transom trucks and later with V&T style iron trucks. She was absorbed into the Nevada & California in 1906, sold to the Eureka & Palisade in 1907 as their #9, and later traded to the Sumpter Valley in 1912 with a different tender. She was supposedly assigned upon arrival to Oregon Lumber Co. #103, and scrapped at Bates in 1936.
